James A. Simpson, 69 died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. Born in Monroe County Ky Aug 28, 1888 he was the son of Jacob and Sarah Bushong Simpson. However, he spent most of his life in Russellville. Surviving are two sons, Randall of Indianapolis and Joe of Pasadena Tx and a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Collings of Bainbridge. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p. m. Tuesday at the McGaughey & Son Fun Home with Rev. Glen Berg of the Russellville Federated Church officiated. *Burial will be in the Indian Creek Cemetery in Russelville. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Note: The Indian Creek Cemetery is on Highway 47 north of Browns Valley Indiana - he is not listed in either that cemetery or my suspicion Hebron Cemetery south of Russellville, Indiana. His wife Lulu is buried there.
